8200M, discontinued?

Post by Moongit »

Just wondering since although listed on the billion uk site still it doesn't seem like it's had any support for the last five years (ie I can't find any firmware updates for it that were released after 2010).

I know the 8800N/NL/AXL has a VDSL modem as well but I already have a 7800DXL that does all the routing and wifi in my house so I really only want/need a modem as opposed to the whole package.

Yes the product has been discontinued a while ago

The 8800NL can also be turned into a modem only, (set the device up in Bridging mode) and you should be fine

It was easy to block any port using 8200m router.
