"The value is invalid" error for the client ID and cannot find a way round it.
Currently using the 1.06a.dt6.dy2 firmware.
Try the firmware on the link below that I posted.

The firmware should be Billion_UK 8200N 1.06a.dd2.dt1.afw

Hi I have managed to connect using this VLAN 101after all.. but now the problem is seems it is connecting slow than the BT modem . i know on other models there is a hidden menu to tweak the speed but i have tried it on this 8200n and there is no page like that... is there different page for it ? with Bt modem sync for 49mbps and with billion only goes up to 38mbps...

If you are on an ECI DSLAM then the low sync speed is a known issue that is being investigated.

Any news on any further firmware updates to improve the sync with ECI DSLAM's?

Well, I'm guessing the 8200N isn't being supported anymore. Time to look elsewhere for a one box solution for Sky.

There certainly doesn't appear to be much going on in here that's for sure! I was hoping that we would be seeing all manner of Beta firmwares for the 8200N, but alas, it all seems to be for the 7800 series!

I did hear back from Billion back in January who advised me they were still working on the problem and have found some contacts at ECI in order to resolve the sync issue with the chipset vendor.

I agree,
Can we please get an update, thinking of purchasing two of these to use with WDS.
Thanks
