Use a Smartphone tethered to 7800DXL?

My DSL service is unreliable. I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 phone on a Three network (unlimited data, tethering allowed). All looks OK when I connect to 7800DXL with USB lead - phone says USB tethering active, and the 7800DXL has it as a device (I think) - but it does not work. What settings do I need to check/change in the 7800DXL?
Regards
Andrew

You need to check to see if the S3 has given a internal IP address to the 7800DXL.

You should be able to find this under 'Status >> WAN' listed under 'USB3G0'

Hi - having the same problem its saying that the status is '3G/LTE Card not found'. Does this mean that its not compatible - its now working with an iphone 5 but not a samsung galaxy or a samsung Fame. Any ideas what I can do?
