Seems to be working fine for me!

Seems to have sorted out an issue with my GF's laptop's wifi connection taking forever to connect, but that could also just be the freshly applied settings I suppose...

I am having trouble connecting to Sky using MER, seems to hang on DHCP CLIENT IN PROGRESS. I had the same issue on 1.06f too, my sky router says uses MER when I try that so it's not as if my exchange doesn't it, any ideas from people who have it working?

I have tested this with Sky PPPoA and MER and everything seems fine so far but only just spent this morning playing around with it.

I do have a question, I set up two profiles MER and PPoA and both seemed to make a connection together/at same time with different IP's so they were both working.

But what I want to know is can you turn one or the other off so that you can switch between PPoA and MER?

I also set it up with MAC spoofing on the MER settings and again worked fine although it did take about 15 minuted to renew and connect.

What I have also done is save configs for the various setting I tried, so I can switch from only PPoA to only MER or both.

I tried with and without Mac spoofing, maybe I just didn't give it long enough. I will have another look tomorrow when I am home. I have left it trying so it might have connected when I get back :?

Do I have to set my IP and network mask, or should I leave it to try and obtain the info itself? Maybe someone who has out working could post their settings to help me?

These are what I did:

Upgrade to 1.06g Firmware and factory default settings.
Enter in all new settings (DO NOT IMPORT FROM OLDER SETTINGS)

RED = MER Settings

Here are the steps:

1) Login to 7800N via Http.

2) Upgrade the beta firmware

3) Restart to the Factory Default Settings

4) Please choose the protocol as MPoA (RFC1483/RFC2684, Multiprotocol Encapsulation over AAL5)

5) Please enter VCI / VPI as 0/40

5) Please input the client ID as username and password separate with "|" e.g. username|password

Need the 1.06fdc back.

Just upgraded to 1.06g and my latency has increased by 11ms.

I'm always dubious about betas and looks like I was right about this one but because of the favourable reviews, succumbed against my better judgement.

Is there a link on the forum for the predcessor to this one ?
