Need the 1.06fdc back.

Just upgraded to 1.06g and my latency has increased by 11ms.

I'm always dubious about betas and looks like I was right about this one but because of the favourable reviews, succumbed against my better judgement.

Is there a link on the forum for the predcessor to this one ?

I have just ordered this router

Does it matter which port I plug the RJ45 cable into from the BT Box?

Cheers

If you are using ADSL then you can use any of the 5 ports, (the EWAN port will only connect to 100mbps)

If you are using a fibre connection then you can only use LAN ports 1-4, as the EWAN will be used to connect to your fibre modem

Do you mean the firmware has fixed your wireless issue?

Hi
Sorry for what may be a stupid question in this forum.
My ISP is Sky I have ordered a 7800N and want to set up to connect straight to Sky as the sky Wi-Fi is crap.

I can see the set up help that looks pretty straight forward.
But what do I put in for username|passwork where do I get these from ?

I do have wireshark V1.12.3 and can get it to run but need to know how to get this info ?

is this the correct firmware for Sky ?

Thanks Steve

1.06h.dt2 is fine for Sky, you will need to extract your current sky username and password from your current sky equipment, you might have to google this procedure or check the skyuser forums
