Bipac 7800N 1.06g Firmware

Post by billion_fan »

Attached is the firmware for the Bipac 7800N, firmware 1.06g

In the zip file are the release notes, there isn't much listed just a wireless driver improvement.

Please post your findings/comments here about the firmware release.

As usual you will need to reset back to factory default settings to ensure all changes within the firmware are implemented correctly.

Do not restore settings from previous firmware builds.

Is this firmware different in any way to the recently released Australian 1.06g?

It should be the same, with settings changed by default for the UK market eg WAN settings, Wireless setttings etc

Thank you for 1.06g as I spent a day or two NOT getting 1.06f.dc1 working.
However 1.06g worked as soon as I had re-entered my usual configuration...
just as it ought. IMHO .dc1 is abbreviated from Dire Consequences;-/

Hi there i have literally just joined and am also with Be. I have yet to plumb in my 7800N. What are the issues with Be? Or could someone point me to a relevant thread?

Many Thanks. :)

Is there a version of this for the plain 7800 (non "N" version)? I'm having stability problems with 1.06f.dc1 after upgrading from 1.06a. My EWAN keeps on dropping out since I've upgraded and have to reboot it almost daily.

Dont forget to reset back to factory default settings, and make sure you do not restore settings from previous firmware builds.
