Hello from a newbie

Post by MarkyMark »

Owdo all.

I'm due to review my 7800 tomorrow morning (assuming Royal Fail don't do their usual hide it/lose it/break it) and wondered what it is I should be doing/checking/configuring as soon as I connect it up and turn it on?

Hi MarkyMark and welcome to the forum.

What you should be doing before you even turn it on is to check that all the bits are there and have a read through the Quick Start booklet, but it's pretty straight forward for basic use.

How you configure it will depend on whether you use a laptop or a desktop as to the wireless card (N lite or full N) and gigabit facility your machine will have.

If you have any problems, just post back here where there will be expert help in the form of billion_fan who will keep you right.
