Static DHCP?

Post by segillum »

Firstly my grateful thanks to billion_fan for solving my port forwarding problem so quickly. PlanePlotter is now working very well.

It would be very useful to be able to force the router always to use the same IP address for the computer running PP. Does the 8800NL support static DHCP reservation? I've read the manual carefully but can't see any reference to it.

You can set up the router's DHCP server to allocate static IP addresses to devices.

Go to Configuration --> LAN and there is a label about two-thirds the way down that says "Static IP Lease List". Click on the Add button just below it and enter the details.
