I saw on a previous thread on WPA3, you said it depends on the chipset provider? So any news on either front for 802.11ax and WPA3, for either model?

I'm guessing as the 8900AX-2400 is the newer model, it's more likely to still get updated for a few more years??

I love my 7800DXL, so am happy to wait a while longer, if i'm likely to see a new product that is future proof for the next few years at least!

At the moment there is no word from the chipset vendor, we will continue to support the 8900AX-2400 as it is a current model, so it might be worth waiting until we get further news
