want a wireless router

Should i buy wireless router? is it safe,is it fast,is it good?or should i get virgin or bt or something cause my friend says bt is better but i want a wireless router like belkin 1.if i buy it does it have internet already?or does it need a phone line? Please explain it seriously!

If you want to save a few quid then you could create a Virtual Router if you already have a modem http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/faq/id-16 ... ndows.html

You only need a router with WPA2 support, the current best standard for Wi-Fi encryption. Virtually all routers support this security feature. Some routers will tout features like easy SSID broadcast control or an advanced firewall. These are fine and sometimes include an easy-to-use interface, but they’re not necessary.

I bought the RT-N66u, and my first one was a lemon. Really dissapointed.

Finally made a decision i will be going for this one Bipac 8900AX- 1600 R2. But i cannot find the price anywhere on the link provided.
