Naming attached devices

Post by wingco1 »

Is it possible to assign names to devices connected to the router. Mac addresses don't really mean a lot. I would like to set names like, 'laptop', 'Samsung' etc.,

I don't think you can,

If you would like the option to be added in furture firmware (if our engineers can implement it) you can make a request here viewforum.php?f=15 so our engineers can see it.
