Wireless will not turn on

The wireless on/off button on the rear will not turn on the wireless function. Is there a way to bypass this. I have tried the >6sec rule but it remains off and I continually have a lock symbol next to my wireless on the wlan configeration.

I would use the routers web configuration page to enable/disable the WLAN function, normally found under 'Basic >> WLAN'
