Access to the Wan interface from the lan

I have a 7402NX. Until recently, I could access the external address from inside my lan - eg to access a port forwarded web server.

I recently updated the firmware and have lost this capability - is there a setting I'm missing?

I assume you mean you cannot access the router LAN configuration page?? Have you tried to use the internal IP address 192.168.1.254?

Have you tried to enable remote access, as you are using the WAN IP address when inside the network (nat loop back)
