LAN Statistics

Post by Steelstar »

Hi, I tried to have some info about this aspect in the past, giving some suggestions in the specific forum, but nothing happened after that.
So, I was wondering how to read data reported in this section: it seems to me that after some time numbers displayed there don't change anymore... maybe only a certain number of digits can be displayed, I don't know.
However, this the only section of Billion products that I really find badly implemented. I really hope developers will do something about it.

I have reported a issue with the 'Bandwidth Usage' page not showing the correct speeds (from my memory it was either the upload or download that was showing incorrectly) which our engineers are looking into, once I get update it will be posted on our official website and on our forum :D

I was referring to the page Statistics/LAN page.
Besides, both statistics/LAN page and Bandwidth Usage should have an option to see WAN and LAN data together and not in separate sheets.

I just checked my 'Statistics >>LAN' page on my 7800DXL (running at home) and the statistics seem to increase, what firmware are you running, I am running 2.32d

On a PPPoA connection (if this is of any importance) WAN trasmitted is clearly bugged. It shows kilobytes as bytes probably, I don't know. A simple speedtest shows it clearly.
Trying to see if I spot other wrong in the LAN statistics.

I can confirm the following bugs about Statistics and Bandwidth sections:

- in Statistcs LAN or WAN: when any number reaches 4.300.000.000 bytes (and probably packets) resets and restarts from 0, making this section useless. (also: it should report data in KB, MB or GB and at least save the time of the last reset).

- in Bandwidth Usage/WAN Transmitted there is something wrong: it simply does not reflect the real bandwidth (WAN received looks OK).

Already reported this issue

I will try and replicate your issue once one of my LAN connections reachs 4.300.000.000, (one of my LAN port is on 4234880284,
