7800DXL bridged with Huaweii HG658c - no stats/snr

Post by Feliks »

Hello everyone,

I just got my new line connected with Vodafone fibre. I'm getting shocking results on speed test of 3.5Mbps down and 0.32Mbps up on line that was flying pass 40Mbps with previous provider. I hooked up my good old 7800DXL to their modem in hope that I can rectify this mess by adjusting SNR. Bridging went surprisingly well and all seems in good working order. However, when I go to status / summary the line rate for both down and up stream shows 0 values. Same for summary / statistics / xdsl which shows nothing at all and in status shows disabled. Any ideas what's after happening? I'm using the latest firmware.

This is because your VDSL modem is syncing with the phone line, if the 7800DXL was doing the modem part, it would show these stats.
