Firmware is for the 7800DXL only if any users want the same firmware for the dx/vdox let me know
Hello, am I right in assuming that this bug is fixed in the 2.32d_dm12 firmware I have on my brand new 7800DXL?
I am having issues where when someone uploads anything, all the download bandwidth is cut off!
I guess my questions are: If I don't have any QOS rules set up, will this be the default behavior for this router? And if it is the default behavior, what do I need to add to the QOS rules to fix it so that everyone else can still browse/download while there is an upload going on?

Thanks for any help in advance...
Yes this fix is incorporated into dm12 firmware, attached is a screen shot example to give lower upload priority to devices that hog your upload (the two IP addresses mentioned, use the 'Static IP Lease' to fix a IP address to them outside the DHCP range) (screen shot taken from firmware 2.32d.dr3)
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Thanks for the quick reply billion_fan!
More questions: Do I have to use fixed IP addresses for this to work? i.e. If I leave the IP address boxes blank in my setup, would the low priority work for every IP address on the network?

Thanks again.
That's right, if you enter the IP addresses, they IP addresses should be limited, any IP address that is not listed will not be effected

Thanks again - I think I get it now... just to be 100% sure... if I enter the IP address ranges of my current network in those boxes, then will all of my addresses be affected, even if – and this is the important part for me - they are automatically assigned by the routers DHCP and not specifically set as fixed for each connection?

That's right, you need to include the whole range (DHCP Range) and also the range of some devices that might have static IP set
