When is 2.32e going to full release?
To everyone who has tried the pre-release, is it worth downloading and installing now?

For the 8800AXL?
I am not sure if the release that is now available is different to one I downloaded a while back from these forums. If there is no difference then I will stick to the stock firmware as somehow I managed to screw everything up when I downloaded it and called support for help.
Rick.

I have found it slower than old version, Now gone back to BT Home Hub 5 (its 2+mb faster than new firmware) for a while until I get a chance to have a play with new version.
Think I will have to a factory reset then have to change all the settings again.
Bit of pain.

I'll stay on the stock firmware until it is officially released.Eddman wrote:I have found it slower than old version, Now gone back to BT Home Hub 5 (its 2+mb faster than new firmware) for a while until I get a chance to have a play with new version.

Re: When is 2.32e going to full release?
I just installed 2.32e on my 8800axl, and it seems waaaay better that the stock firmware. No change in fibre speeds for me, but wifi is much more stable with no odd pauses or hangs now.
I didn't realize it's still not official yet though - surely it's got to hit official release soon.

Is it likely to be released this week? The post at the top indicated it would be out last week.

Re: When is 2.32e going to full release?
In the guide to upgrade the software, you suggest installing it without using current settings, so it is a fresh factory install.
I have so many settings I have tweaked to this - can I restore my previous settings from a recent back up I made after installing the new firmware, or should I manually reconfigure it again?
Rick.

Some users here have not had any issues after a firmware upgrade, and restoring their settings, but if you do run into issues, reset the unit back to factory defaults and manually reconfigure.ricke17 wrote:In the guide to upgrade the software, you suggest installing it without using current settings, so it is a fresh factory install.
