My new 7800NXL does not successfuly process any Super Frames and they all error out as per below. It does this with any SNR I use up to 21 and for this example it is set for 8.5. Super Frames is always 0 and and Super Frame Errors is always a number much greater than 0. I am using 2.32e. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I have the same issue. Also my router seems to periodically freeze. I can't access the management page etc. I have to reboot the router. It was always rock solid prior to the firmware upgrade

Current statistics has Super frame errors because the each packets being transmitted doesn’t have Super frame size packets.
If the packets being transmitted has Super frames, The router will count to the Super Frames label.

Understood, but if I am getting super frame errors doesn't that mean I am receiving super frames? If so doesn't that mean all super frames are erroring? If not receiving super frames then why am I getting superfram errors? Just to be clear I have never had any entries in the Super Frames stat but I always have errors in the Super Fram Errors stat.

Here's the reply from our engineersDazman wrote:Understood, but if I am getting super frame errors doesn't that mean I am receiving super frames? Re: All Super Frames Error 7800NXL
I have found the problem. There is a bug in the table on the xDSL page does not show the actual Super Frames recieved. When I telnet I see Down = 3592005 and Up 476153 but on the xDSL table both are always 0. This bug is in 2.32e and needs to be fixed.

Just tested on our 2 ADSL lines here (Zen and Enta) both lines show super frames within the web gui (see attached screen shot, you can see the two different sync rates, and both lines use ADSL 2+, with super frames logged)Dazman wrote:I have found the problem. So its a strange one, did you perform a factory reset after your upgraded to 2.32e?? Maybe it worth trying to
1. Make a backup of your config file,
2. reset the unit,
3. check for super frames(once connected to the internet, don't use your backup file yet)
4. If you got super frames logged continue to setup the device manually, if you still don't have super frames, restore your config
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Re: All Super Frames Error 7800NXL
It is displaying Super Frames now after BT reset my line and added interleaving values of D = 2 and U = 32. DLM must have done this. Don't know why this profile reset caused it to start working and I hate the extra latency but at least the line is more stable and getting only 3 or 4 superframe errors per 24 hours.
