Looking for confirmation on what firmware for an ECI cab (and dm2 vs dh14 etc)

Post by cheesecake »

I have a Billion 8800NL. I just discovered that I am attached to an ECI cabinet on BT FTTC.

I am having trouble figuring out what firmware I want to install. I saw this post by underzone: https://forum.kitz.co.uk/index.php?topic=17195.390

And apparently I want 2.32d.dm2

On the site itself I see 2.32d.dh14: https://support.billion.uk.com/index.ph ... pac-8800nl

Can anyone else explain what the dm2 and dh14 stuff means?

Most of the stuff I'm reading about is from 2016. Does it even matter now?

They are old firmware's there have been plenty of fixes etc (as well as a newer dmt code)

The very latest is 2.32e.d16 (this has DMT code A2pv6F039q.d24m (link below)
