7800nxl router.
Has anyone been able to connect to the usb share on the router using the above? Kodi doesn't see the share at all, even if I put in the proper address I just get a timed out error. If I enable the digital media server on the router (DLNA) kodi on the fire stick picks it up straight away and I can access all the files on it. If the digital media server is enabled would anyone, even not on my network, be able to access the files?

Only people on the internal network will be able to access your files once the "On-board digital media server" is enabledantighsiothail wrote:No one?

Thank you for that, it did concern me a little as I don't know anything much about dlna servers.
