Moderate nat on two xbox one
Hi I just received this router and I am getting moderate nat on Call Of Duty Black Ops 3 with two Xbox one connected.
On the Xbox one network settings it saying NAT type = Open but on Black Ops 3 both are showing as moderate nat any ideas?
Further information running Wireless on both and BT Infinity.

Here is something I found on the internetBingham67 wrote:Hi I just received this router and I am getting moderate nat on Call Of Duty Black Ops 3 with two Xbox one connected.

"When you are in multiplayer press start to get to the menu. Now go to the options tab and go to network. If your nat type is strict or moderate where it says "nat type" to the right it will tell you what port the game tried to go through"
Once you know the port you can open this port using the Virtual Server section within the router, (forward port 3075 to IP address 192.168.1.200/xbox IP address for example)
For the other xbox try to put that IP address into DMZ, and restart the xbox and see if that helps

First find the IP address, (looking at the network settings within the xbox one) then login to router 'Configuration >> NAT >> DMZ Host' in the centre of the page enter your xbox ones IP address within the 'DMZ Host IP Address' and click on 'Apply'Bingham67 wrote:Thanks but how do you Dmz the Xbox One?

Open not the Dmz strangely it originally was then switched to other Xbox One despite IP being in the DMZ

Try removing the DMZ rule
Check the port within the multiplayer section (as listed before for the xbox with moderate nat)
Then port forward that port for the second xbox and fully shut down and restart the second xbox
From looking at the CODAW they say multiple consoles will use 3076 (the next port up)

Reason being two devices can't use the same port, as external traffic won't know which xbox to route tooBingham67 wrote:You cant set rules to port forward both xbox one this is what annoying be so much simpler if you could?
This is what I would be adding within the virtual server section (see below), also were you able to check the port the game is trying to use on the moderate NAT xbox by following this step "When you are in multiplayer press start to get to the menu. Now go to the options tab and go to network. If your nat type is strict or moderate where it says "nat type" to the right it will tell you what port the game tried to go through" you can then forward the port within the router.
xbox 1 - port forward rule - 3075
xbox 2 - port forward rule - 3076
