8900AX-1600-R2

Post by Speedster »

Hi everyone,
Im new to these forums, Im on BT infinity 1 have been for years and have been using a home hub. Just changed to the 8900AX-1600-R2 and not sure if I have it set up correctly. I have it wired to an iMac and web pages seem slow to load, certainly slower than the old home hub, there seems to be a lag each time I open a new page, Im also noticing the same on my phone and iPad which are wireless on both 5g and 2.4.
I was hoping someone with more knowledge than me might be able to suggest something that can solve this issue, maybe change a setting. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in anticipation.

Try changing the DNS servers to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 (attached screen shot example)

Also if you have IPv6 enabled, try disabling it (screen shot example attached)
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
