locked out?

Hello

we are talking of 8800NL RL2.

After enabling the "LAN firewall" option in the router I have been locked out. I cannot ping the router nor use the web interface. The router works regularly. So I think I have been locked out...

Is there any way to enter the router without resetting it?

No, a factory reset is the only way to get back into the WebGUI.

so what's they point to enable that function? after enabling it there is NO WAY to log in again?
I also had some external ip configured, they also don't work. Is that normal?

Now, I just want to double check again if the only way to log it is again is to do a factory reset.

I'd ask billion to add a notice about that function, a warning about it. fortunately I have a backup otherwise I'd need to reconfigure a company router with hundreds of settings... Still I will need to lose some work hour to reset all...
