I can't get my IMAC to talk to the printer connected to the 8800NL R2 usb port.
Any advice please?

Try following the attached guide to setup your mac (the setup procedure should be the same as 7800 series)Stevebrass wrote:I can't get my IMAC to talk to the printer connected to the 8800NL R2 usb port.

I suspect that is it. Fairly old HP printer. May not have IPP.

Hi, downloaded the instructions, followed them, the printer is fairly new, everybody in the house on Windows has managed to get to print wirelessly. I'm the only one on Mac (I've got a MacBook Air), followed the instructions above and nothing happened. Can you please help?

It should work, if it is working with windows, you might need to run through the process againMacUSBprinter wrote:Anybody? Anything?
This guide is for using the printer with a USB connection to the router.
If your printer is new, is should have a wireless connection, which you can setup once you have downloaded the MAC driver utility installation for your printer
