Dual band 7800
A dual-band version of the 7800 would be good... when I've had my 7800N long enough to get my money's worth out of it

Re: Dual band 7800
We have already requested Concurrent Dual band wireless with head office but currently under evaluation.
Head office is also watching the new Wi-Fi standard, 802.11ac which support 600Mbps in 2x2. So no ETA yet I'm afraid.

I'm quite happy that it's on the horizon somewhere, thanks.
I hadn't heard about 802.11ac, off to Wiki for a read

Yes please - and simultaneous too!
- but maintaining an excellent stable connection like my 7800N (not like the c****y Netgear 3700 which is reported by many as dropping ADSL connections frequently)

I'd like to see a future 7800N model with added 3G capability with fall back options.

Not likely as the Bipac 74xx series has this function, the only other option is 7800GZ which has embedded 3G module for 3G backup, but no N wireless or gigalan.
The 7402NX has gigalan and N wireless and 3G dongle backup, but this does not have the broadcom chipset.
