All,
Had BT Infinity installed this morning, connected to the ewan port on my 7800DXL. It's all working just great, but I note that port 4, which is the ewan port, is orange and all other lights are green. The BT openreach modem has all lights green.
Is port 4 on the 7800 not supposed to be green also?

This is because the BT Open Reach modem runs @100mbps, so the LED will be orange, if the BT Open Reach was running @1000mbps then the LED will be greenscwilson wrote:All,

Ok - thanks, that explains it. Why spend on a gigabit port when we don't yet have fibre that can achieve 100mb/sec.
