Had the new firmware since release and my AppleTV is definitely more stable. Only time will tell, but so far so good.

I have just encountered exactly the same symptoms as described with my 7800dxl. This was with the latest firmware 2.32c. The router had been up for 34 days and the web interface was very sluggish with some pages displaying the 'invalid session key' message. The 2.4ghz wifi channel then stopped accepting connections. A reboot via the console resolved all of the issues.
Hopefully the above information will be useful to the developers.
