Invalid Session Key

Post by DoctorAce »

After a few hours of working the router in now returning the error message: "Invalid Session Key, please try again" when I try to make configuration changes. Tried from a couple of PCs both of which are running IE11... but it was working fine earlier. Any suggestions as to what might be causing this?

Hmmm! this happened to me this morning when I was adding an address to the Mac filter. For me a quick F5 to refresh the page seemed to do the trick and this in under IE10.

I would welcome knowing why it does this???

Hi

I think you'll just have to live with it, I've been getting these too on all versions of firmware with FireFox or IE.

Well, the only way I managed to get rid of this was reboot of the router so it's not something that I can live with if it's anything like a regular occurrence... which from the sounds of things it may be. I'll wait for a response from Billion of course.

As a suggestion, just wondering if clearing the SSL state in IE would have any effect on this, or using the Back button or clicking on the URL to return the page ?

Tools - Internet options - Content - Clear SSL state.

It's possible that Action Center may have something in its Reliability History as to why this is happening.

Action Center - Maintenance - View Reliability History - click on View all problem reports from the bottom of the Reliability Monitor window then scroll down to Windows Explorer and double click on the appropriate dated error.

Thanks folks, I'll try both of those if it happens again.
