Skype answer
It is normal behavior since the routing IP Address for Skype user has been created before Time Restriction is enabled. Therefore, the session call will not get kicked out before the skype call is manual ended.
You Tube answer
Your tube video will continue to play because the PC cached the video. While user is loading the Youtube page, the movie will auto download it as cache. you can see it the download bar.

Re: 7800X Time Restriction
Thanks, but it doesn't answer my question of how to stop this at a given time restriction.

Re: 7800X Time Restriction
Hi billion_fan,
Any news or update to this question?
I have for the time being gone back to using Draytek 2830 to achieve time restrictions and it works well, however it is at the cost of wifi range and speed, so i really would like to go back to using by Billion router if possible.
Thanks

I think I have a workaround for youtrevdance wrote:Hi billion_fan,

I setup two rules with the time schedule, one time restriction and one outgoing IP filtering (see attached screen shots)
Setup a 'Static IP Lease List' for the device in question, to ensure the device gets the same IP address everytime, (this is for the outgoing filerting rule, as it is done via IP address)
Now once the time schedule has kicked in, the call will continue for around 30 seconds and then the connection will drop (I couldn't hear the other end, and they couldn't hear me) then I get the Skype message saying ' there is a problem with your call)
If you want to give this workaround a try and let me know how you get on
