Sorry to necro this thread but just got around to trying this again. Upload (LAN to WAN) QoS seems to be working fine with this firmware on 7800DX but I can't get download (WAN to LAN) to throttle.

My settings are:

IP Version: IPv4
Application: Guest
Direction: WAN to LAN
Protocol: Any
DSCP Marking: Disable
Rate Type: Limited
Ratio: 25%
Internal IP Address: Set to guest domain, but also tried leaving blank for any
External IP Address: Blank for Any but also tried 0.0.0.1 to 255.255.255.254
Time Schedule: Always On

Any suggestions as to what I might be missing?

Yes it is, I have a guest/virtual AP set and use Interface grouping to assign the SSID for the guest wireless to a separate group name and then assign a separate DHCP address range to that group name

Can you make sure the WAN is set to the 'Grouped WAN Interfaces' as shown on the attached screen shot
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

How do I do that? The available WAN interfaces box is empty

I assume because you are using ADSL/PPPOA

Yes, that's correct - PPPOA over a BT supplied wires only ADSL

Can you submit a ticket here http://www.billion.uk.com/esupport/inde ... ets/Submit and attach a copy of your config file with the password set to 'admin' I will investigate once I get time.
