Finally bought a 7800dx (2.32d firmware) to replace my 7800n and have hit a snag with the virtual server & firewall settings, what I want to do is restrict access to my ftp server to a specific ip address which I managed to do on my 7800n (see viewtopic.php?f=17&t=106 ) however on the 7800dx incoming filter there is no ability to set the action for the rule to drop or allow although there is in the outgoing filter rules, how can I setup rules to do what I want?
Thanks
Steve

Re: 7800DX Virtual Server/Firewall
Have a look at the following thread, there is two ways to achieve this,
viewtopic.php?f=18&t=2072
1. Exceptional Rule Group, edit group 1, enter the IP address/range you want to allow, set the 'Default Action' to block, then under 'Virtual Server' tag the 'Exceptional Rule Group 1' to the virtual server rule
2. Use the 'IP Filtering Outgoing' as shown on the attached thread
