1. Login to the router (on http://192.168.1.254)joe2419 wrote:can anyone help i cannot get this router to connect to my talktalk fibre,i have followed the instructions to the letter but still comes up with failed,oh it's the 8800nl model, wanted an all in one solution instead of using openreach modem thanks.
2. Click on 'Configuration >> WAN >> WAN Service
3. Remove 'ppp1.1' and 'pppoa0' interfaces
4. Click on 'Add'
5. Follow the attached screen shots

Re: help
I also could not get my new router to work with Talk Talk fibre VDSL using the quick set-up guide until I found this post and followed the excellent instructions - thanks! I guess an obvious question is are the quick set-up instructions missing a section or is this a random issue that occurs sometimes?

Re: help
Its normally the ' 802.1Q VLAN ID and 802.1P Priority' that have the issue when you use the quick start option or EZO option (it defaults both the 802.1Q VLAN ID and 802.1P Priority when you select IP Over Ethernet) but it seems fine for PPPOE (BT Fibre/PlusNet Fibre etc)NovaScotia wrote:I also could not get my new router to work with Talk Talk fibre VDSL using the quick set-up guide until I found this post and followed the excellent instructions - thanks!
