Hi Billion_Fan. After upgrading to the 'd7' firmware, my SNR dropped from ~20 to 7.2, with the attainable rate dropping from ~120,000 to 88000. Was it because the 'd5' firmware was showing incorrect values?
Not that I am aware of as the DMT code was the same.
Hi Billion_Fan, extracted this from DSLStats:
Vectoring status: 5 (VECT_UNCONFIGURED)
On d5, this was "1 (VECT_FULL)" or words to that effect, if I remember correctly.

Hi @billion_fan,
Are the stats below good or bad? I read the linked page - but still not sure...
Downstream Upstream
SNR Margin (dB) 6.4 15.3
Attenuation (dB) 13.6 0.0
Output Power (dBm) 13.0 3.8
Attainable Rate (Kbps) 79184 29051
Rate (Kbps) 78618 19999
Is there any other stats I need to share?
I am on a 76Mb package with PlusNet..
Many Thanks
Your stats look fine, try to keep the router on, with out any restarts also

Can you grab some screen shots of your stats from d7 (status >>> statistics >> xDSL) then load d5 firmware again and check the vectoring status if its the same it might be BT, if its different grab some screen shots and send over all over the stats, so I can show our engineers the stats off both firmwares (you might want to wait a day or so before switching firmware so DLM does not restrict your speeds)

I have attached the 'd7', and 'd5' snap shots of the dsl stats page (PS; the second image for d7 fails to upload, but I don't think that you need it)

Can you try loading the attached firmware and see if the vectoring is enabled. (as the norm, upgrade and reset back to factory default settings and before you configure the device again, check to see if vectoring is enabled and SNR showing a higher rate)
Our engineer has stated there is no any change with DSL PHY code, Both FW has same Phy code = A2pv6F039v.d26q_rc1a , they could only suggest a reset back to factory default settings and then checking again

Hi Billion_Fan, I'll try this over the weekend.
