I guess that Bob didn't get my messages... Maybe I will have to go back to tweaking the SNR then.

Redo the PM - He may pick it up but would have thought he would have responded to your previous post, where you were in doubt as to whether it was sent or not.

An alternative would be to contact Plusnet and ask them to do it as it's always better to have a pre-set ISP profile as a base reference, should you want to try a tweak on that.
