UPDATE !!

with the help of e-support if have identified an issue with running an application called 'Hamachi' this appears to be some form of simple VPN for gamers. Support inform me they have now recreated the issue and have passed it to their engineers. The fact that I can disable the Hamachi adapter has, for now, fixed the issue.

This issue has been resolved on the new 2.31.rc4.3 firmware. Please note that we can only replicate this issue on Windows XP SP3 only.
