Why don't they release a beta/test firmware for us who are affected by this issue? Then we can let Billion know if it fixes the issue if they decide to release a last official firmware for the 8800 Series.

They already have, and my feedback to them was this new firmware still has this issue, fix it

Yes it is, it even has a new PHY code, so moving in the right direction.

I'm not sure at the moment, all resources are with the newer 8900 series and 8800NLR2 at the moment

Here are some quick pics of the Bipac 8800NLR2 for anyone that's interested

It is almost the same as the 8800NL, but it has a difference casing (rack/wall mountable), external antenna's and 5 Ethernet ports (the blue EWAN port is the only gigabit port) N wireless also

Surely cant be too hard to fix, heck even remove the QoS completely I don't even use it. Either that release the source code so we can get a fix ourselves.
