I also got much lower sync speeds with VDOX compared to Netgear DGN2000 with custom DGFIRMWARE and a script setting for 65400
Does this router support those values then?
I'm sure I tried values and it didn't sync at all until I put it back to 1 again. The line can hold down to 1db and give full 8128 sync anytime of day with just handful of HEC errors.
With VDOX managed to get 5600 max!
my script line on Netgear for g.dmt was:
adslctl configure --lpair o --snr 65400 --i24k on --phyReXmt on --sesdrop on --bitswap on --trellis on --sra off
