I appear to have a similar problem, six devices showing in my DHCP list with "Expires in: 0 seconds" on the lease time.

This includes a device which when it was first connected got an IP via DHCP and then I configured it to have a static IP outside of the DHCP range. Trouble is the device is still showing in the range and when I try to tracert to it by hostname it tries to use the DHCP based IP address so is confusing other devices on my network that are also being told by the Billion 7800DXL that it's at the "old" IP address which has "0 seconds" left on the lease and has been that way for days now.

I've got 7 other devices that are all working fine on their DHCP leases, including ones that are in the list of 6 that have frozen on "0 seconds" and then got another "live" lease, although some of them the MAC addresses don't match up and I believe these were virtual MAC addresses issued by the device mentioned above (a wifi range extender) when I was initially setting it up, but many of the devices with "0 seconds" have never connected to/via that extender and are currently switched off and have been for at least 24 hours but still showing in the DHCP list. The problem only seems to have happened since around the time of setting up the new Wifi range extender (and it's not broadcasting out IPs or wifi networks, as I'm only using it as a connection to an ethernet device to the Billion's wifi), around a week ago and I'm using the latest firmware for the Billion router and other devices.

Have you tried to restart the router and see if the DHCP 0 seconds lease is removed? (normally devices that not connected to router but were connected before will show as 0 seconds)

For the device you have issues contacting via hostname try setting up a 'Static IP Lease List' rule for the device, and change the device's TCP/IP settings back to 'Obtain A IP Address automatically'
