Can you explain in more detail the issues that occurred when using this firmware (so I can inform our engineers)

Or it might be better to submit a ticket on the following link http://www.billion.uk.com/esupport/inde ... ets/Submit, just explaining the issues you have had

Hi Zarf2007, I'd hold onto the router if I was you. Whilst d15 firmware clearly has some issues, I can assure you that having tried almost every top selling ADSL AC router over £140 on the market, this is the best available - at any price - for modem, router and wireless performance. Downgrade back to D12 and you'll get the best there is.
I've tried Zyxel Vigor 2860AC (not a great modem), Netgear D7000 (great modem, shocking router) Netgear D7800 (rubbish modem, rubbish router), TPLink 2600 (2 units that were both DOA) and I could list more...

Hold on in there. I'm sure they'll fix the D15 release in a few weeks.

You might want to check out the Synology RT2600ac, granted it doesnt include a VDSL modem (for that I have opted for the DrayTek Vigor 130) but the software blows away any other router for security/features. so far been very stable and the wireless signal on both 2.4 & 5g are far better....I have a Synology NAS and am happy with the way Synology actively support their hardware with software updates even years after the warranty has expired....

I've realised that all in one router/dsl solutions aren't what they are cracked up to be (tried tp-link, lucky if you get one firmware release a year, dlink, netgear, asus all poor to average),

Billion looks to me like a 90's model, well past their use by date :)
