Adding additional eth port capacity?

I have a 4 port 8800
And would like around 6-8 more
Is it as simple as adding something like: Netgear GS308 8-port Gigabit Ethernet Switch?

As long as your switch is a gigalan switch (so you can get the best speeds between devices), you can connect this to port 1 on the Billion 8800NL (on the 8800NL R2 it will be the EWAN port) and you should be fine
