Weird issues with 5GHz - BiPac 8900AX-2400

Hey,

I received my BiPac 8900AX-2400 with the 2.52.d12 firmware.

I've noticed that on the lan statistics the bytes for the wl1 interface (which I believe is the 5GHz network) is so high it's almost impossible for it to be accurate.

Seamingly incorrect information is also reported on the bandwidth usage graphs:

I've got my MacBook Pro connected to the 5GHz network and it appears to be functioning fine (gets my full download speeds etc) Does this look like a firmware issue or hardware?

Is there any news on these weird 5GHZ problems? After 10 days of use using the 5ghz band the light will go out and a whole router reset is required, I have a feeling its due the large number problem getting too big.

No update yet, I have just chased our engineers, very strange that the 5ghz LED will go out, I was using the 2400 for some time at home and never experienced this issue, once I get some feedback from our engineers I will drop a update here

Also if the issue occurs again, can you grab a copy of your system log and update your ticket, so we can investigate. (it will be best if you can change the logging level to debugging before the issue occurs found under Configuration >> System >> Configure Log, change both Log Level and Display Level to debugging and apply, wait for the issue to occur, copy and paste the system log to a wordpad/notepad and send it us

Will do, the 2.4ghz will continue to work but 5ghz will just completely blank and SSID is missing

Also if you can take a screen capture of the Wireless 5ghz page also, so I can show our engineers (once the issue has occurred)

This firmware is working much better not seeing the huge numbers, that I was before.

Its early days but things look promising.

Thanks for the update, if you can drop me another update after the weekend, that will be great and we can get the fix implemented into official release firmware :D
