IPv6 options missing
Hi
I am trying to set up an IPv6 tunnel on my 8800NL R2, firmware version 2.50a,d7 using the manual and the guide posted here:
viewtopic.php?f=19&t=3747&p=11690&hilit=tunnel#p11690
However, none of the IPv6 menu options that are supposed to exist are available to me - not 'IPv6 autoconfig' under LAN, nor the 'IP Tunnel' menu item under configuration. Screenshot attached.
What am I doing wrong?
thanks
syrel

Re: IPv6 options missing
You need to enable IPv6 on the WAN interface first, once you have edited your WAN connection and enabled IPv6, the option should then be available under LAN. (you might need to close down your web browser/tabs and then login in again to see this option)syrel2001 wrote:Hi

Re: IPv6 options missing
Thanks for the reply. I've finally had chance to try this out but can't get it to work. I have followed the instructions in the guide, and it seems to work, but I have no ipv6 access. My ipconfig /all result is:
Connection-specific DNS Suffix . : home.gateway
Description . . . . . . . . . . . : Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller
DHCP Enabled. . . . . . . . . . . : Yes
Autoconfiguration Enabled . . . . : Yes
Link-local IPv6 Address . . . . . : fe80::6c7e:1da9:c976:595e%10(Preferred)
IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 10.0.0.22(Preferred)
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 10.0.0.2
DHCP Server . . . . . . . . . . . : 10.0.0.2
DHCPv6 IAID . . . . . . . . . . . : 242537525
DHCPv6 Client DUID. . . . . . . . : 00-01-00-01-1A-75-8D-1B-74-D4-35-0C-A8-E6
DNS Servers . . . . . . . . . . . : 10.0.0.2
NetBIOS over Tcpip. . . . . . . . : Enabled
But when I go to test-ipv6.com I got 'no ipv6 address detected' (though I did get a tick for 'Your DNS server (possibly run by your ISP) appears to have IPv6 Internet access.' At ipv6-test.com I get ipv6 not supported, though 'DNS6+IP4' is supported.
Does anyone have any idea what I might be doing wrong? I have gone through the guide several times to ensure I am not missing a step. I am on firmware 2.50a.d7.
cheers

Re: IPv6 options missing
Can you post a screen shot of your 'Status' page so I check to see if you have IPv6 on the WAN sidesyrel2001 wrote:Thanks for the reply.
