One the sites that I manage has a credit card machine attached to an 8800AXL router, and the card company is claiming that port 4567 TCP is open, and is a security risk. I was under the impression that this is used for TR-069, which is not enabled on this router. Is there any other reason that it may be open?

The only thing I can think of its open by UPNP or a Virtual Server rule.

Have you performed a port scan (canyouseeme.org) to confirm that port 4567 is open??

You can also block the port using the firewall, attached is a example
