Slow wifi no 5ghz

Connected to 2.4ghz ok but slow. Wired connection is good. I can't connect to 5ghz at all.
Just got today can't think what it is.
Probably will send back but want to check i have not done something dumb.
Firmware 2.52.d12
BiPAC 8800AXL R2

Try a reset back to factory default settings once completed see if you can see the SSID 'Billion-AP-5g', if you can see the 5ghz band you can continue to configure the device again
Regarding the 2.4ghz band try changing the channel to 1, 9 or 11 (Configuration >> Wireless 2.4ghz >> Advanced)

I have tried that no luck. Reading around it could be my phone the mate 20 pro that's the issue. Some people are having issues with random router's it would seem.
Other devices are connected on the WiFi 5ghz the speed is not maxing out.
Will factory reset again and see if that helps if not i will replace with another brand.
