connect data storage device to USB

I have an 8800NLR2 connected to a windows 10 system. Has anyone succeeded in connecting a USB data storage device to share data over the WLAN?? if so how please ??

Check the 'UK Quick Install Guide' that came with the device page 27 for USB setup
