I take it that there is no problem with fixing the 7800N vertically on a wall?

Mine's fixed to the wall like that and is absolutely fine. Apart from freeing up some desk space, I imagine it runs cooler that way (not that it gets particularly warm anyway).

Many thanks for the response. I have used Drayteks for years and in comparison the Billion seems warmer and as the vents seem all to be in the top and bottom panels when mounted horizontally I was a bit concerned what prolonged vertical use would do to heat retention.
