Try either 6or 11, you can always change the channel back to default if needed. Or you click on 'Scan Used Channels' and select a channel that is not use, on 2.4g there is only three channels that do not over lap, this is 1, 6, 11merchsky wrote:no i have not tried to change channels im scared it might start making the other devices have problems too. do you think i should change channel and give it a go and what channel would i change it too ?billion_fan wrote:Have you tried changing the wireless 2.4g channel??merchsky wrote:ok we have 2 laptops 1 tablet and 3 phones all using the 2.4ghz wireless.

http://www.metageek.net/products/inssid ... 3Dinssider is a good program to use so that you don't change to a channel that is over populated or has someone on it with a stronger/near signal strength to yours.
The lower the RSSI value (disregard the minus value) the stronger the signal and try the channels that will give you the highest Link Score.
