Hi everyone,
I have a Netamo presence which is linked via wifi 2.4Ghz connection. When the camera is activated it takes about 20/30 seconds to trigger a notification on my iphone when connected to the wifi.
Are there any settings or things to consider that would help improve this? I also have a help call raised with Netatmo who have done the usual turn it off and back on again.
Thanks

Re: Netamo presence
I assume the 2.4ghz connection is good (you can try changing the 2.4ghz 'Bandwidth' to 20/40mhz, found under Configuration >> Wireless 2.4G (wl0) >> Advanced on the Billion),rolfrobinson wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2020 2:50 pm Hi everyone,

Thanks for replying. I think it is? It doesn't drop Signal and is located fairly close.

The only other thing I can think of is its lag from the Netamo device when sending a notificationrolfrobinson wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2020 3:36 pm Thanks for replying. I think it is? It doesn't drop Signal and is located fairly close.

Thanks Billion Fan
These are my settings for wifi. The bandwidth is still showing as current 20MHz even after I have restarted it - is that normal or is there something else I should do? Are there any other settings that need to be changed?
Netatmo did a reboot of the camera to see if that helped but it didn't improve it.
Bandwidth 2.4 GHz
Channel Auto - Currernt 11 (Interference acceptable)
Auto Channel timer 1440 minutes
802.11n/EWC - Auto
Bandwidth 40MHz Current: 20MHz
Control Sideband Lower Current: N/A
802.11n Rate Auto
802.11n Protection Auto
Support 802.11n Client Only Off
OBSS Coexistence Disable
Turbo QAM Disable
RTS Threshold 2347 [0-2347]
DTIM Interval 1 [1-255]
Beacon Interval 100 [1-65535]
Global Max Clients 16 [1-128]
WMM(Wi-Fi Multimedia) Enable

Re: Netamo presence
Try following the attached screen shot (the main difference is setting the channel from Auto to a fixed channel eg 11, then setting the bandwidth to 20/40 MHz, once applied the bandwidth to change to 40mhzrolfrobinson wrote: ↑Thu Apr 30, 2020 6:58 pm Thanks Billion Fan
