Just changed my ISP from Sky Fibre to Plusnet Fibre, internet is all working great but I noticed that I couldn't connect to any of my internal services (server, cameras etc)
Advanced options was missing the "Virtual Servers" setting where I had previously defined my rules/ports... okay, I guess sky used ipoe and plusnet is definitely ppoe (somebody else changed the settings whilst I was at work, so i'm guessing a little here)
Navigating around, I saw "enable firewall on Lan side"... hmm doesn't quite sound right, but maybe checking that will bring back the Virtual Servers section....
Nope. And now I cannot connect to the router internally or externally...
Does anybody know why the menu option was missing, but more importantly, how I might go about re-accessing the router admin interface (aside of a reset to factory default)
locked myself out - options?

The only time I have seen the 'Virtual Servers' missing if you have logged in using the 'Local or Remote' username and password.mas54321 wrote:Just changed my ISP from Sky Fibre to Plusnet Fibre, internet is all working great but I noticed that I couldn't connect to any of my internal services (server, cameras etc)

There is no advanced option on the 7800DXL, the virtual server section is found under 'Configuration >> NAT >> Virtual Server'
If you have ticked the 'LAN Side Firewall' for your normal DHCP group you will be locked out from the router, you will not be able to contact the router (this option is used to isoloate a guest network from contacting the router, so guests can't make changes to your router), the only way to continue is to reset the device back to factory default settings i'm afraid.
