Hi can the pros help me setup QoS.
I am trying to achieve atleast 1mb of bandwidth for web as my brother uses uTorrent allot and kills off all the bandwidth.
If someone could kindly post screen dumps and advise how to limit uTorrent? and maybe suggest other tweaks?
Many thanks in advance!

Re: QoS
Hi KaBoom
I have attached a rule I just setup.
Not sure if it will work, as I don't use torrents anymore.
This screen shot is to limit the upsteam via port, so it will not slow down normal internet usage.
If you want to limit the downstream, set the 'Direction' to WAN to LAN.

Re: QoS
After a quick google search I found the following information on DSCP Marking.
1.Differentiated Services Code Point
The six most significant bits of the DiffServ field is called as the DSCP. The last two Currently Unused (CU) bits in the DiffServ field were not defined within the DiffServ field architecture; these are now used as Explicit Congestion Notification (ECN) bits. Routers at the edge of the network classify packets and mark them with either the IP Precedence or DSCP value in a Diffserv network. Other network devices in the core that support Diffserv use the DSCP value in the IP header to select a PHB behavior for the packet and provide the appropriate QoS treatment.
2. Sorry yes the connection should be WAN>>LAN to limit the downstream
I will adjust the post now.
Thanks
